Picking the French Breakfast Radish. Eating them minutes after picking ensures a wonderful sweet, yet peppery flavour. I am told the tops make a great addition to pesto sauces, for that lovely horseradish-like heat. Easy to grow, with a quick turnaround from seed to harvest in about 8 – 12 weeks. I plant a new row every 4 weeks to keep me in supply most of the year around.
